Manager, Member Relations Program

​Overall Position Purpose
This position exists to provide Inteleos with program development, project management, tactile execution of the strategic plan, the supervision of designated staff and daily execution of the maintenance of certification and engagement programs for the 120,000+ members of the Inteleos Councils.  Additionally, this position oversees the second largest revenue program (renewals), oversees the academic outreach program; ensures goals and projects are executed in a timely and fiscally responsible manner; and serves as a member of the Inteleos Management Team under the guidance of the Chief Marketing, Communications & Engagement Officer.

Core Responsibilities
     • Develop and manage tactical plans for all member (Registrant/Certificant) retention programs which include
        but are not limited to renewals, attestations, CME attainment/audit and recertification.

       but are not limited to newsletters, upsells, engagement campaigns, etc…
     • Oversee and lead strategic guidance regarding the development and execution of the academic outreach
        programs (administered by the coordinator-level staff);
     • Manage assigned department programs, workflows, and projects to assure timely and accurate roll-out of
        processes and programs utilizing collaborative and consensus-building management techniques to lead
        departmental and cross-departmental projects;
     • Lead the development and implementation of new/enhanced membership strategies and systems that
        promote retention and engagement of members;
     • Identify, gather, analyze and act upon data from various sources to drive decision making for targeted
        retention and engagement campaigns;
     • Identify opportunities to improve the membership experience, and ensure a strong, engaged and growing
        membership. Select appropriate opportunities to champion and oversee for integration across th
        organization;
     • Represent the organization at meetings, events and tradeshows;
     • Collaborate with MarCom staff and develop recruitment strategies for new and existing members;
     • Serve as a company-wide resource and perform mentoring/coaching/leading of other staff to ensure
        retention and engagement programs are fully integrated across all departments;
     • Identify how policy changes will affect member retention and engagement and incorporate into the existing
        functions and operations;
     • Provide reports on the effectiveness of retention and engagement programs. Continually assess, develop an
       identify areas for enhancements to reports;
     • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts, ensuring expectations and efficiencies of negotiated
        contracts are met within the scope of the contract;
     • Assume significant responsibility in the forecasting, determining and setting of budget allocations required to
        meet position-specific strategic objectives ensuring fiscal responsibility, strict adherence to the Board
        approved budget and financial policies, and monitoring financial trends to allow for strategic adjustments to
        assure maximum ROI; managing the position-specific budget(s), assure strict adherence to the Board

     • Ensure all risk controls are met through the oversight of an effective risk management framework.
     • Serve as the department representative on governance committees, as needed;
     • Manage one assigned staff, their daily activities, training, professional development, mentorship, and
        performance evaluation to maximize potential and investment, and create a team-oriented environment;
     • Develop and maintain processes/procedures as required for organizational ANSI accreditation; and
     • Maintain familiarity of Inteleos staff policies and the functions of each Inteleos department and work as a
        positive role model and mentor/coach for all staff. 

Required Education/Experience
     • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required in related field. 
     • Five to seven years of program management experience, preferably in an association setting.
     • Minimum of two years of experience in a management role

     • Working knowledge of business and people management principles, theories and concepts in the work field,
     • strategic planning and resource allocation/modeling/leadership techniques

        organization as well as external contacts
     • Capable of analyzing problems rigorously and from all angles, showing sound practical judgment
     • Superior project management, interpersonal and organizational skills
     • Ability to lead in a team environment, act as role model and coach to all staffProficiency using computers in
        a MS office environment
     • Demonstrated skill in writing concise, logical and grammatically correct content for collateral, the web,
        communications and reports

     • Incumbent has formal supervisory responsibility for the Engagement Coordinator and will also monitor the
       work of vendors and consultants. 

Work Environment 
The incumbent will work at a desk in an office environment. Travel and evening and weekend work will be required. There are minimal requirements to lift or move equipment.
