Manage Personal Information
Registrants may log on to the Registrant Resources section of the website to update, change, or add to personal information.
If an applicants’ name or address changes during the application process, they must notify ARDMS in writing within 30 days of the change so that we may keep our records as up to date as possible.
Name changes, which must be faxed (301.738.0312) or mailed (51 Monroe St, Plaza East One, Rockville, MD 20850), must be made in writing and include legal documentation of the change (e.g., a copy of marriage license or driver’s license). Please include your Registry number on all documentation sent to ARDMS.
ARDMS eligible applicants will receive an Examination Confirmation letter notifying them of their eligibility within approximately four weeks from receipt of the application in the ARDMS office.
However, if you would like to check the status of your application or if you have any other questions or concerns you may contact ARDMS by phone at (800) 541-9754.
Complying with the ARDMS CME requirements:
In order to maintain Active status with the ARDMS, Registrants are required to accrue 30 ARDMS acceptable Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME) during each three year triennium.
ARDMS provides a thorough list of those CME credits that will be accepted.
For instance, if you became a registrant with ARDMS on January 1st, 2007, your three year triennium would start from that day and continue until December 31st, 2009. In that time you are required to maintain at the minimum 30 credits. By paying your renewal fee at the end of the year, you are attesting to the fact that you have accrued the required amount of CME credits.
ARDMS has converted to a CME audit system. Registrants are no longer required to send in their CME credits to ARDMS. We ask that you hold on to them for a minimum of four years in the event you are audited.
