The ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential is offered exclusively to physicians.  The RPVI credential is earned by taking the Physician in Vascular Interpretations (PVI) examination.

The PVI examination focuses on:
• Anatomy
• Physiology
• Instrumentation
• Physical Principles

Physicians who wish to apply to sit for the PVI examination must meet one of the published prerequisites for this examination. You can view the entire ARDMS PVI Application Booklet online and print out a copy for your records.

The PVI examination is approximately four hours long with approximately 200 multiple-choice questions. The examination is delivered via computer in proctored testing centers throughout the year. The cost of the PVI examination is $500 USD.
