MSK Content Outline

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Content Outline*

The ARDMS recently conducted the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Job Task Analysis (JTA) Survey for the new Musculoskeletal Sonography Credentialing Examination, scheduled to launch in 2012.  The MSK Content Outline provided here was built on the results obtained from this MSK JTA Survey. Clicking on the content headings in the outline will bring up a list of tasks that may be covered on the examination. The percentages listed in the MSK Content Outline table provide true representations of the portion of the examination that is devoted to each domain.  In the Anatomic Area Representation table, the percentages represent the number of questions dedicated to each subdomain (Shoulder, Elbow, etc.) across the entire examination, but not necessarily under each domain.  That will vary.  For example, the 16% of questions devoted to the Shoulder across the exam may be dispersed at different percentages under each domain.
