Status Verification

Verify the status of an employee or other persons using the ARDMS status verification directory below. If you are looking to verify a current, expired, or sanctioned ARDMS credential or for information on a pending ARDMS credential verification, please scroll down the page for links to those specific lists.

If you are looking to verify a current, expired or sanctioned ARDMS credential:

ARDMS Directory of Registrants here – Verify Credential of Active Registrants

ARDMS Directory of Retired Registrants – Verify Credential of persons with “Retired” status by ARDMS.

Compliance Sanction List– View a list of persons who have been determined to have violated ARDMS Compliance Policies and are under sanction.

Persons No Longer Registered – Verify if an individual is no longer registered due to non-compliance with ARDMS rules pertaining to maintenance of CME credits and/or fees.

Registrant Status Verification – Obtain status verification letter by logging on to MYARDMS.

ARDMS Identification (ID) Cards – View information about ARDMS ID cards.

Primary Source Verification

Employers and others concerned about accurate, current ARDMS certification status should confirm that all documents and information presented by sonographers and/or vascular technologists are accurate to secure or maintain employment or to verify certification status.

The following methods are available for verifying active certification status and whether the individual is listed in the Compliance Sanction List due to a violation of the Compliance Policies.

Note: ARDMS will not release any additional information regarding past or pending compliance action situations without a valid subpoena or a signed, written release from the individual.

Primary source verification methods:

  • Status Verification Tool. Verify active status using the Status Verification tool at the top of the page.  Click the printer icon on the lower right-hand side of the page to print the results.
  • Verified Credentials. Ask the Registrant if they have signed up for our Digital Credential Wallet feature.  If so, ask them to share their verified credentials with you.
  • Status Verification Letter.  Ask the person to provide you with a Status Verification letter – they can print one directly from their secure MY ARDMS or MY APCA user portal.
  • Digital Badge.  Ask the Registrant to share their digital badge with you.  When you click to view a badge, the badge page should open and you should see a blue Verify box in the top right corner of the page. Clicking on that badge will run a verification process to ensure that what you are viewing is a valid badge. For more information click here.
  • Compliance Sanction List. Individuals who have been sanctioned due to a violation of the Compliance Policies are listed in the Compliance Sanction List.
    • To verify if a Registrant’s name matches the person on the Sanction List, please contact compliance@inteleos.org.  ARDMS will only confirm whether the identifiers you provide are a match to the person listed on the Sanction List.
