In efforts to support our Registrants and ease their burden during these unprecedented times, please note the following for the audit of CME periods ending on December 31, 2019:
- The CME Audit selection process was delayed by one month; selection took place mid-April.
- The CME submission due date was extended to August 1, 2020 (normally the due date is April 30th). All required CME documentation must be received by that date.
- All CME documentation must be uploaded to the CME Bank. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical ARDMS office is closed and staff are working 100% remotely with no way to access documentation mailed to the office.
- Results will be sent by August 2020 and posted in MY ARDMS.
If you are unable to complete the above noted requirements (ie. unable to upload the required CME documentation into your CME Bank), please send an email to CMEAuditAppeal@ARDMS.org for guidance and assistance.
ARDMS conducts an annual audit of a percentage of randomly selected Registrants whose three-year CME period ended in the previous year. Log in to MY ARDMS to view your current three-year CME period and check the status of CMEs you are required to earn by the end of your three-year CME period.
In March 2020 ARDMS will begin the CME Audit process for Registrants with the three-year CME period of January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019*. ARDMS notifies the randomly selected Registrants from the 2017-2019 three-year CME period of the CME Audit via email and MY ARDMS. Those selected for audit will receive written notification from ARDMS of their CME audit results by August 2020. Results will also be posted on MY ARDMS.
If you are selected for CME Audit and you fail to submit the minimum required number of ARDMS-accepted CMEs by July 31, 2020, your credential(s) will be revoked.
If you have not met the CME requirements, please follow the CME Reinstatement procedures.
*If you earned your first credential in 2016, your three-year CME period began the day you attained the first credential and includes any time that remained in 2016 plus the next three years (January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019).
